One of the things I've been working on lately is Jane Davenport's I heart drawing class and attempting to learn to draw the figure. There is so, so much info in the class - just not enough hours in the day! This African lady was my first play at drawing a figure. I printed off some of my patterns to use as the "fabrics" for her dress and headdress. I am quite smitten with her!
Isn't it great to be smitten! (I often put something that I have created by my bed at night so I can see it when I first wake up - it makes me smile at the beginning of my day)! Another wonderful creation!
