What gorgeous colours the tulips in the photo are! And I think your bold style suits tulips as they always seem quite a solid flower to me :)
The teacher of an Art and Design class I attended years ago, used to buy tulips from the market at the end of the day when they were cheap. So by the time we painted them they were bowing their heads somewhat and I came to love 'floppy tulips'!
You have a wonderful Grandma! Tulips are my favourite too (and that Grandma sometimes brings me some as well) I also love the creation they inspired. So very nice to catch that little bit of time with you yesterday.... ;)
