paper dolls
I was inspired by the idea of using paper and stitching to make some whimsical little people by the class Paper Art Personalities: Creating People in Collage, Paper and Stitch. Honestly, I was more inspired by the idea of the class than the class itself, so I just went with the idea of playing with paper dolls and did it my way.

the finished face
Well after months, I've finished one of the canvases I started during Bloom True.

packages, boxes and bags
Finally, I'm just about ready for Christmas. Here are some of my handmade papers and things. If only I had time to make all of the wrapping papers I have swirling in my mind.
Merry Christmas!

more african inspired sketches
I am still spending my free time sketching whimsical African ladies.
I will probably draw them digitally soon, maybe to create some card sets. I'm not too sure, but they are making me very happy.
On to Christmas shopping, baking, and wrapping!

little reindeers
One of my favorite parts of Christmas is making my own wrapping paper.
I cut out a little Styrofoam reindeer stamp, and then added the fine details with a marker.

Now, I just need to carve out a little more time to make some more papers. And wait for it to warm up so we can head out to get a tree.
What holiday creations are you up to?
